Club Overview
Barnsley Women’s Football Club is very proud of our town of Barnsley, and we promote and encourage Women & Girls football in Barnsley and the surrounding area.
Our First Team currently plays in the FA Women’s National League Division 1 North. Our Junior Teams play in the Sheffield & Hallamshire Women & Girls League.

The Club’s Shirt Sponsor for 2019/20 is “BizeDocs” who took over from “Premdor” who were the Shirt Sponsor for 2018/2019. The Club is grateful to and appreciates all its many Sponsors including, in particular, AmcoGiffin and Yorkshire Rose Coaches.

Barnsley Women’s Football Club was formed in 1982, under the name “Barnsley Ladies FC”. Our Club used the name “Barnsley Ladies FC” for 34 years until the end of the 2016/17 Season when it changed its name to “Barnsley FC Ladies” for the following two Seasons until the end of 2018/19. On 16 March 2018, Barnsley Women’s Football Club Limited took over the Club and we changed our name to "Barnsley Women’s Football Club” for the 2019/20 Season.

Home Matches are played at the Oakwell Academy, normally on a Sunday at 2pm
