Barnsley FC Ladies started their FA WPL Northern Div 1 season away to a very good Hull City Ladies side who had had a confidence building pre-season.
There were league debuts give to 5 new players Georgia Wattam, Kirstie Ward, Nikki Hogg, Demi Pringle and Anna Cairns.

It was a tough first half for the Ladies in East Yorkshire. Going into the break Hull City LFC 4-0 Barnsley FC Ladies. But a more encouraging 2nd half finishing Hull City LFC 6-1 Barnsley FC Ladies with Nikki Hogg opening her league account after 75 mins.
