The Reds made it 3 wins from 4 in the league after picking up 3 points against Leafield Athletic, who had a 100% record going into the game.
The Reds made one change to the defeat away in the cup as Maisie Norde came in for the injured Ocean Rolandsen.
Manager Craige Richardson urged the ladies to show intent from the off and it did not take them long to oblige.
Some neat play found Helen Lynskey in the box and when the centre back missed the clearance, it was only ending with one outcome. Lynskey in the box, 1-0 to the Reds.
From then on it was a dominant display for the Reds who missed a series of chances, with Lynskey firing over from a corner as well as forcing the Leafield number one into a fine save from distance, tipping a great effort onto the bar.
The rain and wind did not stop and neither did the Reds, fashioning opportunities in the testing conditions.
As the half drew to a close, a sign of danger that 1-0 lead is dangerous came, with the Leafield forward through on goal and ready to shoot, in stepped Jodie Snelson, who chased down the seemingly impossible task and put in a hell of a challenge to avoid a shot on goal.
Half Time
The Reds ahead 1-0.
The second half started much like the first, with The Reds on the ascendancy. A few chances that went over and wide came and it looked like, with 15 minutes to go, it would be a potentially nervy last 15.
Up stepped Jemima Jarvis, spotting the Leafield number one slightly off her line and unleashed a great effort that sailed past the keeper to make it 2-0.
Even with the lead, the Reds did not stop, making sure they kept a clean sheet and the centre back pairing of Fulger and Snelson proving difficult to beat.
Tanya Fozzard had a chance to seal it with a third and having beat the keeper, the defender passed it in the way of Helen Lynskey whose narrow attempt went into the side netting.
