Our away day versus Middlesbrough Women FC lead to a successful win for Barnsley Women as we kept a clean sheet with a score of 2-0!

Within the first 20 minutes we were already on the offensive... with a couple of attacks on goal we kept Boro on their toes and pressure their defensive line! All this came to fruition as we scored an absolute wondergoal at 18 minutes!!! Curled perfectly past the keeper into the top corner!

At 38 a minutes there was a lengthy stoppage as two opposing players collided, leaving our Barnsley player out of action for the rest of the team. Hopefully she has recovered.

Half time rolls in and we are up one on the score sheet. We let our game drop and Middlesborough start to dominate the second half's play, only lacking that final play into goal. Luckily we take our chances on a quick counter attack and cross the ball into the box... GOALLLL! Creating an even bigger gap between Barnsley and Middlesborough.

At full time our Barnsley Ladies have another win under their belt after many postponements they're back on track!
