Game day on Sunday let our Barnsley Women's FC XI dejected and disappointed after a 5-1 loss to Hull City.
Within the first 12 minutes Barnsley already concede however an equaliser was scored by Pierrepont at 14 minutes!! Putting our girls back in the game.
This didn't last long as Hull managed to score again and we were left 2-1 down at half time.
With close efforts and cross bar hits from Biggins and Snelson we kept pushing for another goal to no avail.
Hull still run away with two more goals and it becomes 4-1
We are left a chance at a goal, but unfortunately Pierrepont has a penalty saved by the brilliant Hull City Keeper.
Dejected the Barnsley side concedes again, 5-1 to Hull.
The match ends on a sour note for our women as we haven't lost a game in a while, but its time to pick our head up and push for the next match!
Come on you reds.
