In a riveting Plate Quarter-Finals clash, Barnsley Women's faced a resilient Hull City side in a rollercoaster of a match that culminated in a dramatic 3-3 draw, but the reds going through after winning on penalties. The spirited encounter showcased the skill of both teams, who you have to think will be competing for promotion come May.

Straight after half time Barnsley levelled via an own goal after good work from Pierrepont down the left and then took the lead late on through Charlotte Stuart, but Hull City managed to level the score at 3-3 with a late goal.

Extra time didn't lack drama either as both teams pushed with Hull having the majority of the ball and the chances. Clarke pulling out a number of fantastic saves to keep the reds in the game.

With the match deadlocked at 3-3, the contest moved to a nerve-wracking penalty shootout. With a heroic save from Clarke allowing Ruby Jex-Oldfield the chance to win it for the reds.
