Despite the geographical closeness of the sides, they’ve rarely met in competitive action in recent years, with each side battling in different regional leagues.

Alongside Huddersfield Town, our ladies have been dominant in the cup in recent years, with both teams having reached the last five finals.

After beating Doncaster Belles WFC in pre-season, we should be confident. However, nothing should be taken for granted, as it’s expected to be a competitive match, as our opponents are unbeaten in six games; scoring twenty-one goals and conceding one.
