It was a glorious summers evening and great to see Fans supporting us at our new home of the Recreation ground in Wombwell as we faced the Huddersfield Town Women Development side who always give us a tough game.

Very fitting that the Home team got the game underway
6’: Goal to Huddersfield, dink beyond the Barnsley defence when their on rushing striker hits to the right of our keeper, who saves, but the follow up is converted, 0-1 Huddersfield
10’: Another goal for Huddersfield, shot from deep on the left side flies beyond the reach of our goalkeeper into the roof of the net 0-2 Huddersfield
18’: Ball by Nat Shaw beyond the defence releases Courtney Csomor to run on up against the goalkeeper, but strikes the outside of the post and goes out for a goal kick
24’: ball from wide right by Hollie Barker is run onto by Nat Watson, but the defender gets a block in on the goal mouth and goes our for a corner

45’: Big chance for Nat Shaw at the end of the first half which the keeper gets just enough on to allow time for a defender to make a clearance
