Definitely a game the Devs should have taken something from today,
Up against the league leaders both teams started well but the Devs were definitely nervous with the ball in possession,
A fantastic first half performance from winger Harriet who put the Devs in front with a fine finish,
Harworth pulled one back with a penalty, our keeper Ellie Mortimer saved the penalty saved the rebound, but couldn’t stop the 3 attempt!
Lack of focus at times today and individual mistakes cost us.
Harworth scored a second, the last 20 mins was a proper end to end battle,
Some fantastic individual performance, but it needs to be a fantastic squad performance,
getting the basics right and as a squad the willingness to win our battles will see us improve.
