Match report summary:
The reserves started well and were immediately on the front foot. They went close with several efforts but they didn't score until the 34th min. A great run down the wing by Lauryn Wilcock resulted in a pull back to Emily Pierrepoint who controlled it and finished well
The Reds then scored again 2 mins later - Maddy Foye dispossessed the Feds midfielder and sent Em P clear who struck the ball into the top corner.
Liverpool pulled 1 back just before half time from a controversially awarded free kick to make it 2-1 at the break.
Barnsley continued to dominate in the 2nd half and added to their tally on 69 mins. This time Emily Pierrepoint provided for Wilcock to strike home.
Emily Pierrepont then completed her hat-trick when she dribbled past Liverpool's defence and slotted the ball into the corner of the goal.
Lauryn Wilcock rounded off the scoring on the 90th min with another calm finish to get her 2nd of the game.
