I was really pleased with the win, and to take the three points from today. The Christmas break and the postponements have given us a 5 week break and it was evident during the game today.

You came up today against a dogged Solihull team today, so what do you think of the performance?

The girls worked hard to break down a resilient Solihull. We knew it wasn’t going to be easy and we had some players playing in different positions so to come away with a win, whilst not playing at our best, is always a good sign.

We take nothing away from our opponents. They set up to break up play and frustrate us, which certainly made it difficult.

That’s 4 wins from our last 5 games, which gives us some momentum travelling to Peterborough Unitied next week.
